A series of queer shorts that delve into family secrets, buried pasts, silent longings and lost futures. In these poignant films, the characters grapple with unchosen paths and bittersweet moments of newfound connection. Sculpting into shape what cannot be said in words, the filmmakers capture the crossing over of parallel worlds and the lasting marks we leave in each other’s lives.

Don’t Forget Me 

While clearing out her late grandmother’s home, Sophie finds a box of hidden love letters revealing a forbidden love story between her Nai Nai and her lover stretched across decades and continents. Seeking closure, Sophie sets off on a road trip journey with her girlfriend to find her grandmother’s lover and deliver her last letter.

Along a river that is undergoing major change, Baby, a middle-aged trans woman, juggles her job as a companion-for-hire and her duty to her father. As the people around Baby start to disappear, she realizes that she has been left behind in a sprawling city.

Xander, a closeted boy, openly shares his sexuality with his sister, Alexa. Every year, they transform their room into a makeshift Miss Universe arena, playfully pretending to be contestants while watching the show live on TV.

The Nape 

Da-ye quits her job as a teacher and returns to her hometown. They begin to help their mother, who has been forced to close the English academy she runs because of the COVID-19 outbreak, when they come across a student who is two months behind in his payments.

This is a pay-what-you-can event between £3 and £15. We suggest £9 as a general admission, but feel free to follow the list below to pay based on your circumstances.

£9: I can comfortably cover my everyday costs.
£12: Beyond my everyday costs, I have disposable income and financial security.
