Originally from Osaka, Japan, HIKARI is an award-winning writer, director and producer. Her debut short film Tsuyako screened in over 100 film festivals worldwide and received over 50 awards including Directors’ Guild of America Student Award for the Best Female Filmmaker. Her other films include A Better Tomorrow, Where We Begin, Can & Sulochan, and 37 Seconds.
