A mermaid is rescued from a fish market by a fisherman. As he carries her towards the ocean, they are joined by two dancing human-creatures. Awakened on the beach, the mermaid performs a sensual dance, but the waves have other plans.

Director Bio
Đoàn Thanh Toàn (he/they) is a choreographer and movement artist based in Ho Chi Minh City. Trained with Ananya Dance Theater and Brown Spirit Ensemble, they create experimental works across Vietnamese art spaces.
Nguyễn Lê Hoàng Phúc is a Saigon-based filmmaker whose films have screened at Rotterdam, Busan, and Clermont-Ferrand.
