Christian Candelaria is a graduate of the University of Philippines Film Institute. His film In His Island garnered Best Feature, Best Directing, and the People’s Choice Award in the Indie Un Film Festival, amongst other accolades. Currently a freelance filmmaker working on various commercial and video projects, Christian aspires to make more films that celebrate gender beyond the binary.
