Stuck in Manila’s lockdown, Stef Aranas ruminates about her lost thesis film and her identity as a transgender artist in the Philippines. The film tackles several conversations between Stef and the members of her film crew, also touching on the government’s response to the COVID-19 crisis and the struggles of graduating in a tumultuous political and social climate.

Stef Aranas is a trans Filipina filmmaker and musician. With her work, she aims to shed light upon the issues and experiences of transgender and queer people, in hopes of uplifting and empowering the transgender/queer community.
