Are you well-organised, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills? Can you think creatively, and work independently and proactively? Are you excited by the prospect of working for an arts organisation that advocates for social change and creates a space for conversations about queer and Asian identities?
Queer East is seeking a passionate, motivated Project Assistant who will play an integral role in supporting the delivery of the organisation’s projects, including its annual festival, touring programme, and other initiatives.
Focusing on administration and operations, the Project Assistant’s key duties involve liaising with a range of stakeholders, partners, and colleagues to ensure that Queer East’s events are smoothly delivered and executed to a high standard. You will also gain opportunities to develop creative skills related to the running of arts festivals, in marketing, curation, programming, and community outreach.
If you have previous administrative experience, enjoy taking responsibility for project delivery, and share our passion for Queer East’s objectives, we look forward to hearing from you.
