Lin leads a double life: he is a decisive and ruthless underworld figure, while running a tranquil bookstore as a cover for his operations. One day, the bookstore is visited by the young Asu, to whom Lin unwittingly finds himself drawn.

Qian He graduated from the Institute International l’image et du son in Paris, majoring in cinematography, and from Université Paris 8, studying art with a focus on cinema and the audiovisual. He is currently pursuing a masters degree in directing and ceative filmmaking at Université Paris 8.
