Filming various sites across Scotland, the filmmaker seeks to uncover the frames of references we use to understand and relate to these landscapes. They attempt to situate themself among these places of absence and ruin by observing the world from both in front of and behind the camera.

Director Biography
Joanne Lee is an artist and programmer who is from and lives in Glasgow. Their writing and moving image practices centre embodied knowledge and translating what it means to make and see from the periphery. They’re interested in the possibility for new narratives to emerge that are based on slowness, healing and community.
