A transgender woman traces the living legacy of Pajoge Angkong, a traditional dance once performed at night markets and ceremonies. Through encounters with elder performers, the ‘wearers of the konde,’ the film reflects on queer survival and the preservation of cultural knowledge across generations.

Eman Memay Harundja is an Indonesian filmmaker and transgender rights activist from West Sulawesi. Active in advocacy since 2007, she works to support gender and sexuality diversity rights, supporting survivors and addressing violence and discrimination. She currently serves as chairperson of the community organization Kerukunan Waria Bissu Sulawesi Selatan (KWRSS).
