Michelle Chu graduated with an MA from the Department of Motion Pictures in National Taiwan University of the Arts and has served as executive producer on most films directed by Yang Li-Chou. Her directorial works include Legit Moms, Illegitimate Kid, Starfish Girl, Darling, How Are You? and Someone Else’s Shinjuku East.
