Manny is a hardworking tricycle driver who struggles to make ends meet for his small family. His young son, Gelo, dreams of his father attending the school’s poetry contest, where he plans to recite a poem he wrote just for Manny. Quietly, Gelo saves up coins to buy his Papa a day off.

Michael Pogoy (b. 2002, Philippines) is a queer storyteller and emerging filmmaker currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. Born and raised in the humble town of Silang, Cavite, they now reside in San Mateo, Rizal.
