War Dance reflects on the gendered structures that shape Asian women’s bodies, drawing from the Korean myth of Sun and Moon Dogs, known as ‘Bul-gae’. Embodying their resistance and transformation through AI-powered images, it challenges the systems that render these structures unquestionable.

Inhwa Yeom (she/her) is a Korean media artist who leverages bio-inspired XR and AI technologies, and performing arts to include a diverse range of (non-)human behaviors, reactions and expressions. With this, she aims to create a stage for ‘minorities’ constructed in the history of cloud computing- and biotech-oriented labor systems, and biocolonialism.
