Two young labourers in a moving truck are filming themselves. A voyeur tracks down motionless monuments. A strange fairy emerges from a pinwheel. A person mutates into a bus. Parsing new works across eternal themes. Ramwong dancing with pins of neon green. Invitational gestures from a gloved hand beckons only dissimulation. A dance troupe struck by lightning a dozen times a month. Miles and miles of ropes sliding across a stock-still body. Cupid flies by, swatting deliriously at lovers kissing. Two brides elope into fluttering pink pixels. All the while, light is rushing out of a black hole, desperate to spread itself all over a silver screen. For a moment in time, your eyes are darting alongside its chaos choreography, and in you, another world is growing larger and larger. In ‘Fast Crawl / Slow Draws’, it feels like everything is moving, towards or against or away, longing to meet in strange places.
